Ripped stolen robbed.
Ok so a week ago Mum and Dad who live up the road from me, had 3 mutton stolen from the safe ( Mutton = a sheep thats been killed for eating, a safe is like a little room that has netting around it, to keep flies and bugs out of while the mutton hang over night. Mutton is hung over night before chopped up its kind of like letting it set )
At first we thought it must be someone we know. cause how else would they know that some mutton had been killed that day. So the police are called. Of course there isnt anything they can do about it, but at lest its letting them know there have been some thief's in the neighbourhood.
Then a few days ago, Mum calls me and tells me one of Dads Saddles was stolen. This Saddle was worth $1500 NZD , thats about $900 USD and about 600 BP ... As you can see its a lot of money. When my Nana died a few years ago. All her children where given a certion amount of money, with some of it, Mum brought that saddle. At lest there is insurance.
Then today Im at work, and Mum sends me a txt saying, last night 2 more of Dads Saddles where stolen and 3 more mutton where stolen.
Nothing else was stolen. The dogs didnt bark. Which damn they bark even when I go up there and they all know me lol. So its a little strange.
Also a little scarry too really. That someone can sneck up when Mum and Dad are sleeping, the dogs not bark, and steal things.
Nothing else was stolen though. So its gotta be someone we know, someone who knows the things are there. And only interested in them. Otherwise thay would have taken other things too.
Makes me feel that little bit saver knowing
1 ) to get to my place people have to drive past my neighbour.
2 ) their dogs go nuts at anything at all.
3 ) I now have Sammie here with me, os so maybe she doesnt bark at anything, and would prob run and hide under the blankets on my bed if anyone came up here lol.. But hey thats not the point lol.
Very sad to know that people would and could do that.
My family are not mean people, we give all the time, we are not greedy people.
Yet still people will steal from us
What a sad would we live in
