Ok so I finished work at 8pm as I do every night when I work. Its a few days away till pay day, but Im running low on cat food so I decided to pop into the supermarket before I head home.
Now lets just go back in time a little here. For the past month or so my little car has decided shes not going to love me anymore

Its not been starting very well. So I took it into the garage to get looked at. They decided it needs a new umm err something

I cant remember what its called now lol.. That thing that keep the battery charged up. So anyways I get that, as they think thats the problem. But nooooooo the very next day it did the same thing again. So the next day I barge on back in there, after having to hill start my car.. Thankfully I live on the top of a hill so its a peace of piss to hill start it.
So the guys look at it, and cant find a damn thing wrong with it.

WTF? its not fucking starting something is wrong, Im paying you to find whats wrong now fix it

Ok I didnt talk like that, Im not like that hehe. But I was getting a little pissed off with all teh piss farting around.
So they keep it over night the next day, they tell me, we cant find anything wrong, it started up as good as gold with no problems. Which I already knew it was something it did.. One day it would start with no troubles what so ever. then that same day it wont start at all. Its the pick of the draw with her.

So they tighten this up ad tighten that up. then decided something that was loose shouldnt have been loose and they think thats what the problem was. Now this was about 2 weeks ago. Since then I have been home sick, so not really even been out of the house, but when I did, I hadnt had anymore problems.

Now back to now

Ok so I go to the supermarket, run in to get some cat food, then run out again.. and yes I was running, its pissing down with rain here

I sit down, open my bottle of coke, take a sip. ( ohh yeah forgot to add I also brought a bottle of coke and a chocolate lol .. Hmm its caused I brought the chocolate isnt it?

) Turn the key and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO she doesnt wanna start.. Its pissing down with rain and Im thinking fuck fuck fuck fuck now what? .. So I sit there for about 10 mins txting my mate Johno but he cant come help me, as hes got his baby, and shes sleeping.. So I try starting her up again and noooooooo .. Now you see this is now about the 5th time this has happened when at the supermarket... ( maybe its a hint I need to stop buying food? lol) So after sitting there thinking what do to. I called Dad from my cellphone. Which thankfully because I was expecting an email while I was at work, I had topped my phone before I went to work...
So I called Dad, and yay Dad to the rescue lol yay for Dads hehehe.. well yay for mine anyway..

So I had to leave it there for the night.. I just had to leave her there. I had no other choice.
I have now paid off my cam. and I only have about $160 or something on Freddy to pay off.
As soon as thats done. Its time to get a new car. As its getting to the point where its starting to cost me more and more in getting the car I have no fixed all the time

And its a must for me to have a car. Without one I pretty rooted.

If I lived in town it wouldnt be so bad, cause I can always walk to work. err maybe

But no really can walk to work if in town, and get shopping when Mum comes into town, so that really wouldnt be too much of a problem. Or just ask someone to give me a ride if they are going that way..
But way out here.. its a LONGGGGGG walk to work lol...
Shes now starting to costs me to get her fixed all the time, so yeah time to move up to something more reliable. Will have to have a look around.

I hate to say it but it will have no wheels when you go back!

I've gone back to rescue a few of my old bombs and found them sitting on stumps! Now I keep a swag in the car!

i know the feeling darlin, the fan in my car has gone so if i hit any traffic it overheats (cue having the blowers on full whack in the middle of summer, bleugh!) and theres also another problem that no one can seem to find out what it is

when i start the car, sometimes, not all the time, it starts then the revs drop and it conks out. sometimes it does it once, sometimes i have to restart the car 5 times before i can get off my street

i hope you get yours sorted or a new one very soon

Good grief... Cars and their issues. I had a favorite car and drove it to work ect, but then it too, started acting weird, so I took it in to get it looked at. When they revved the engine, the engine went sideways...

It has lost some of the screws to hold it in place more or less and I was heartbroken. If I'd driven it anymore, something bad would have happened.

I'm just glad you're okay and I hope you can get a new one used or otherwise soon. I'll take a new used car any day these days...

I've had a few PITAmobiles....
a 1971 Datsun that wouldn't start if the temp was under 60 degrees F...
Cause?
No clue...but it had to be in a garage to get it started if the temp was 59F or less.

There was a 1978 Honda Civic Wagon that wouldn't start if I'd recently hit a series of small, hard bumps or potholes..
Cause?
A small screw in the bottom of carburator... if it backed off 1/3 of a turn or more it screwed up the fuel flow to the floatbowl in the carb.

My dad gave me advice about going to repair places. If they say nothing's wrong, they're lying. It's all a scam to make more money when something really bad happens to the car. Ask friends around for honest repairmen or something, that's how my grandmother got around.
