Fuck.. Ops I mean favs.

Bit of a rant here, dont read if you arnt interested in favs on art, or collectives in clubs

Hmm, First this is not an attack on anyone so please dont think it is
Ive noticed over the past year or so, but more so in the past few months, how many people complain about people that fav their art but dont leave a comment.
I can understand the frustration of this. As I myself like to get comments. Personaly I perfur a comment over a fav. But that doesnt mean I dont like it when people "fav and run" Id much rather have someone fav and run, then comment saying something like " " or " " Or "Nice" These kinda comments although are "nice" they dont really tell me anything at all. Would the people who complain about people who fav and run rather have no comment and no fav! Cause my complaining about people who have faved and not commented thats what your saying.
A fav is a complament. Some people like myself often see someones art, and really dont know how to express how they feel about it into words. But they still like the art and want to show you that they do. Not all people who "fav and run" are these "lazy" people some of you think they are.
Come on guys enough's enough Im getting so sick of reading about people bitching and moaning about people faving and running. Get over it guys move on. Its not like anything you say will stop them doing it so its kinda like pissing in the sea complaining about it.
Also a lot of people on dA dont even know english. I dunno about you, but no use me getting a comment if I dont even know what the person is saying hehe.

And what about favs on Clubs?
Now this is something I see people complaining about all too often.
I myself run a few clubs. It is a pain when people fav art submitted to a club. Is it so hard to click on the links supplied?
I know some clubs will post a message on the users page giving them a friendly reminder that it is a club, and if they could unfav the art then fav the orignal that would be great.
I also know some clubs arnt so nice
I really hope that the clubs I founder are never rude in these comments. I know they arnt ride for a fact. My helpers are very kind and friendly
But some people will still abuse my helpers and or myself. Come on guys thats not cool. We are only trying to support the artists and make sure its their art that gets the well desurved attention they desurve.
I realise that dA runs off the faving system.
But would it really be so hard to make it so like comments favs can be turned off? OMFG that would solve soo many problems.
I know some clubs have started using the collectives instead of submitting art.
I personal dont like collectives I dont use them in my own account, I never intend to use them in my clubs either.
By adding a journal with collectives in it. means submitting more journals. Meaning less members cause lets admit it. Not many people like getting journals all the time. I know a lot of people that are in clubs will turn off journals.
This also means if someone has journals turned off, they wont see any art.
But even then. a collective isnt showing you everything in the thumb. You have to click on it then shuffle though the art to find anything your interested in. Not only is does this mean clicking more often, which for people with dialup or slow connection its a real pain having to wait so long for it to load each time. Also people who dont have unlimited bandwidth. Each click uses up more and more or it. At lest if its submitted to the clubs gallery you can see them all in one place, and just look at the ones that interest you. Instead of having to click about 5 times to see just one thing. Ive got better things to do then piss fart around doing that thank you very much.
Not everyone agrees with using collectives in clubs. Come to think of it from what Ive seen, a lot disagree. So to those of you who keep spamming my bloody clubs inbox with notes saying how its a bad idea to submit art and we should use the collectives. Can you just fuck off and leave us alone. You have your opion we have ours. How would you like it is someones sent you a note saying because you dont believe in God you will go to hell. Or saying your a sinner because you dont beleive in God. You would report that person without a second though for spamming.
So dont send us notes prestching. Good on you if you think its a good idea, thats your choice, write a journal about it letting everyone know how great you think it is. Write a news about it if you must. But dont spam notes or comments on clubs pages pushing your beleives about collectives.
